At Crossett Brook Middle School, Social Studies in 7th and 8th grade is taught in a two-year sequence. One year looks at United States history from the pre-Civil War era (approximately 1840) to the present. The second year investigates the "Global Middle Ages." In that year, we look at all areas of the world, with an emphasis on Asia and Africa, from the fall of the Roman Empire to the time of the European Renaissance (approximately 475 C.E. to 1700 C.E.).

This Wordle was created by Prodigy students in June of 2010. They were asked to list one word that they would remember from each unit we studied. The words from all students were then complied into a list and made into this word cloud using Worlde. Visit the Wordle.net site here.
